Welcome to the ThriveHD Blog –

You are not here by accident – it’s on purpose. Thriving always takes place on purpose. Purpose follows you, it drives your existence. We are all in pursuit of purpose. You may have stumbled upon this site, but regardless. You are meant to THRIVE. Come hang out with us as we figure out together what that means.

We will be exploring topics and wisdom pertaining to the nature of Thriving here. I (Ben Shenkin) will be weighing in on this topic personally and gathering perspectives from my connections around the country and the world from various walks of life. Hopefully you will be inspired to pursue your THRIVE!

You who are reading this might be from a completely different walk of life then the next reader. You might be in business, you might be a school teacher, you might be from the South of the US, or even from a country outside of the US.

Wherever you are from and whatever path you are on currently, I know this holds true: YOU WERE MADE TO THRIVE!

If this is true, then it’s important to get to the bottom of this concept of THRIVE.shutterstock_199942565

Throughout this blog experience, we will be looking to figure out what THRIVING looks like:
• What is is made of?
• How do a I know when I have attained such an ideal?
• How do I maintain it when I do achieve a measure of it?
• What does MY THRIVE look like?
• What is the role of the Divine (God) in THRIVING?

As I looked up the dictionary definition on the all powerful google, I read that the word’s roots are from: Old Norse thrífask, reflexive of thrífa ‘grasp, get hold of’.

This is very interesting to me because when I look back at the times in my life when I would say I was “Thriving”, I would also would have said that I have a good hold/grasp on life, as it were. I am excited to examine further the heartbeat of THRIVE while being led by the Spirit of God to pursue and attain a sense of Thriving for my own life. I am on a journey to bring Hope, to bring Life, to see others fulfill their Purpose.
